GalCir Summit 2008 August 1-3, 2008 Kakkoi-Con - Minneapolis, MN With the goal of bringing Gal & Ganguro culture to the United States, Bulaklak Tribe is America's most loved Gal Circle! Their annual party weekend started in 2007 with Galcir Summit in Dallas, TX. Attendees were able to dine, party, and have panel discussions about Gal culture and fashion with Bulaklak and other respected American gal-circles. At this year's KakkoiCon, Bulaklak has developed a new batch of exciting and enlightening events!

• PARACON 2008

  Want to ParaPara your heart out for a chance at fabulous prizes and eternal glory? American Dream's first annual PARACON is the place for you! Battle it out with teams and individual paralists from across the country for your chance at ParaPara stardom!

• EUROBEAT NIGHT

  NIGHT FLIGHT TO TOKYO! A full night of 2008's most popular Eurobeat songs, along with favorites requested by Kakkoicon's attendees. This is an opportunity to party and synchronise with Paralists from around the WORLD!

• MUSICAL GUEST

  Unfortunately, our special eurobeat guests have had to cancel due to scheduling conflicts. Bulaklak Tribe has been fortunate enough to forge relationships with various artists and labels to collaborate with for future events! Watch out for GCS2009!

• HIME SOIREE

  Ladies and Gentlemen, you are cordially invited to shop & dine in your finest, royal garb with friends and neighbors that share your love for hime-style!

• IRON GANGURO

  Ever seen the popular television "Iron Chef" where they provide a main ingredient and encourage the best in the business to prepare exciting cuisine? Well, IRON GANGURO will give three teams idential boxes of random supplies, an hour, and a "good luck" before sending them to do battle to create the TASTIEST MANBA THE WORLD HAS EVER SEEN! Are you scared, yet? Uncover your eyes and watch the insanity!

• GAL HAIR AND MAKE-UP PANEL

  Visual Learner? Hands-on? Learn from Listening? Whatever your style of picking up knowledge, Bulaklak Tribe is here to cater to you. During this panel, attendees will learn how gals style their hair and the basic ways gyaru apply make-up. There will also be specific tips shared to help new gals jumpstart their wardrobes and everyday beauty rituals!

• HISTORY OF GANGURO & GANGURO TRENDS

  What came first? The yamanba or the Egg? This is a panel focused on dispelling popular rumors about the origin of Gal culture and outlining what the gal-types are. Also, with magazines in tow, Bulaklak Tribe will share the most -up-to-date- Tokyo trends with attendees. This is a must-attend for anyone into Japanese pop culture, Japanese street fashion, and, of course, GAL!

• PARAPARA 101

  Hosted by American Dream, the ParaPara 101 panel will get your blood pumping! Learn all about the Japanese dance craze that's taking the world by storm, and pick up a few moves while you're at it! Both beginners and seasoned paralists alike are welcome to attend - there will be something for everyone!
